Hamburg Airport (HAM)
Airlines and Terminals
(Hamburg, Germany)
Hamburg International Airport (HAM) is served by many domestic and international airlines, flying to and from Hamburg en route to a range of worldwide destinations. There are four main terminal buildings, with airlines usually boarding from their designated terminals.
Terminal 1 handles domestic and some international journeys, whilst Terminal 2 and 3 operate domestic and international flights and Terminal 4 is solely long haul trips.
Terminal Information
Hamburg's airport currently comes with two large terminal buildings, serving numerous different airlines.
Terminals 1 and 2 are linked to the Airport Plaza, with the luggage reclaim area spreading throughout all of the lower levels of these three buildings. Terminal 2 opened in 1993, while Terminal 1 is much newer, opening its doors for business in 2005, following a major redevelopment project.
